The Person Behind the Practice

Naushin Raheema

Founder | A&N Editorials LLP

My work in scientific publishing began with a curiosity about what happens to research after it leaves the laboratory. While the focus of science is often on discovery, I became increasingly interested in the editorial systems and communication processes that allow those discoveries to reach the broader scientific community.

Working within journal editorial environments exposed me to the operational side of scholarly publishing. This includes the constant flow of submissions, the coordination of peer review, the need for compliance checks, and the careful organization required to keep editorial workflows running smoothly.

At the same time, I developed an interest in medical communication and the challenge of translating complex research into clear and accessible formats without losing accuracy or depth.

Over time, it became clear that these two areas, editorial workflow and medical communication, are closely connected. Strong research alone does not guarantee effective communication, and effective communication often depends on well-structured editorial processes.

A&N Editorials

A&N Editorials was established as a way to bring these two perspectives together.

Rather than functioning as a traditional editing service focused only on manuscripts, the practice is designed to support the broader ecosystem of scientific publishing. This includes the editorial workflows, communication structures, and operational systems that help journals and publishing teams manage research efficiently.

The goal is to contribute to the clarity and organization that allow scientific knowledge to move reliably from laboratories and research groups into the published record.

This perspective also informs the guiding idea behind A&N Editorials.

Bridging Labs and Life

Scientific research begins in laboratories, but its impact depends on how effectively it is communicated, reviewed, and shared with the world.
